CENTRAL COAST ROLLER GIRLS

We are one of Australia’s newest Roller Derby Leagues. Our story starts in October 2010 with a Facebook page and the hope that it will get some interest in starting a Roller Derby League for the Central Coast. The page caused a stir and soon enough there were a group of keen girls ready to help out.

The Coast is a unique place. Beautiful beaches, just far enough away from the cities to be relaxed but not close enough to travel for 3 nights training a week! We NEEDED our own league!

Since that initial meeting we have held a call out day where 60 people turned up, had lots of exposure in local media, we are holding training sessions every week, we have a committee and are a registered association, we have coaches and refs, over 75 women are now registered to the league after our recent Freshmeat (new member) intake.

This website is here to hold official updates from the league, event notices, fun stuff about roller derby and the girls who play it, a place to get your CCRG merchandise and buy tickets to bouts.
